Freixo, que teve forte atua\u00e7\u00e3o ap\u00f3s o acidente com o bonde que matou seis pessoas e feriu 50 em agosto de 2011, destacou a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o de luta dos cidad\u00e3os do bairro. &#8220;Santa Teresa est\u00e1 amputada este ano, sem o bonde&#8221;, lamentou.<\/p>\n<p>O candidato \u00e9 um dos autores do projeto de lei que d\u00e1 o nome de Nelson Correia da Silva \u00e0 esta\u00e7\u00e3o dos bondes localizada no Largo da Carioca. A proposta homenageia o motorneiro, morto no acidente, que foi acusado de ser o respons\u00e1vel pela trag\u00e9dia por autoridades.<\/p>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a cerim\u00f4nia de inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o do comit\u00ea, apesar da chuva forte, Freixo visitou ateli\u00eas que participam do projeto &#8220;Santa Teresa de portas abertas&#8221;. Tamb\u00e9m conversou com moradores e exp\u00f4s a guardas municipais algumas de suas propostas para a categoria.<\/p>\n<p>Ele se disse satisfeito com os tr\u00eas primeiros dias de campanha. &#8220;Estou nas ruas para mostrar \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel fazer outro tipo de pol\u00edtica, sem o modelo de financiamento por empreiteiros e empresas de \u00f4nibus.
